DVD Review - Indiana Jones Adventure Collection
In anticipation of the newly released Indiana Jones movie, a new box set has been released which contains the 3 previous movies.
If you are a big Indy fan like I am, then you'll want to add this to your DVD collection. That's because this isn't an ordinary re-release. These movies have been remastered and look as good as the day you would have seen them in the theaters.
Now, a lot of people have their opinions on which is the best of the 3. Personally, I prefer the third. I'm a big fan of Sean Connery so of course it's #3.
I don't know if I need to review these movies, as they are classics but I'll give you a brief rundown of the 3:

I don't know if I need to review these movies, as they are classics but I'll give you a brief rundown of the 3:
Raiders of the Lost Ark - In this movie, the first, we are introduced to Indiana Jones. A teacher and historian who prefers to protect and preserve historical artifacts as opposed to selling them to the highest bidder. In this movie Indy is up against the Nazis as he tries to find and protect the Ark of the Covenant. He goes through wild adventures and gets by by the skin of his teeth. In the end, he does successfully protect the Ark from the Nazis only to have it dissappear into the depths of some US government warehouse, never to be seen again.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is the darkest of the 3 movies - it involves the usual - mystical stones, bad guys with swords and a damsel in distress. Considered by many to be the least popular of the three movies, but still entertaining none the less.
The third installment - The Last Crusade is my favorite. It introduces us briefly to a young Indiana Jones, as well as Indy's father played by Sean Connery. In this movie they are hunting for the Holy Grail. And of course they do find it and ride off into the sunset (literally).
In addition to these 3 movies, there's tons of bonus features on each disc including interviews.
If you are an Indy fan I highly recommend this set.
